Bits & Pieces

Craigslist -ing like a Pro

I began exploring craigslist 2 years ago when I was looking for a new roommate- I did not find a roommate via craigslist, but i did unlock the magical door of craigslist.  I get the same buzz from finding an amazing item on the pages of craigslist as i do when rummaging through a vintage/thrift store.

I was originally going to write a tip list for beginners, but I found this great article that sums it up best: Mastering Craigslist: 15 Tips for Buying on Craigslist.  So instead I will share what I have purchased and how much i have saved in the past 2 years.

Thanks for the link-love Gina! Looks like you have gotten some pretty good scores on craigslist over the past two years, especially the kitten! My gf is jealous! It definitely is one of the best places to save money. You can get like new items for such greats deals, I often wonder why people still buy retail, especially for furniture.
